Newtown Food Festival will return in 2024! A treat for the whole family, we have a range of activities, exhibitors and much more. As always, our festival has free admission.

Our festival takes place from 10am on Saturday 7th September till midnight and then 10am till 5pm on Sunday 8th September 2023.

We will be releasing more information closer to our 2024 festival - please check back.

 

Where do we find you?

Newtown Food Festival is held in the Town Hall Grounds, Newtown, Powys, SY16 2NZ. Car parking is available next to our site which is operated by Powys County Council. For 2024, this car parking will be FREE thanks to the Town Council. what3words: alternate.deep.clef

 

Accessibility, toilets, and more

Wheelchair and mobility scooters access - Most of our venue is suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooters access. The grounds are grass with some tarmaced areas.

If you have special needs and require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to do what we can to help.

Toilets can be found at the top of our festival near the car park. These are free and will be open all weekend. They are operated by Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council.

 

Accommodation

Why not make a weekend of it!

How do I get to Newtown?

By Road

Keep on the A483 into Newtown and turn into new Church Street. After 600m, turn left into Newtown Back Lane Car Park.

By Rail/Bus/Coach

There is a fast and frequent train service to Newtown, which is on the Aberystwyth-Birmingham line. 

Rail services in Newtown are operated by Transport for Wales.

By Air

The nearest airport is Birmingham, approx 2 hrs by car or by trains from Birmingham International station (via Shrewsbury), which is adjacent to the airport. Manchester, Liverpool, and Cardiff airports are also convenient, with good road and rail links.
